For the 14th consecutive year, HP has received PC Magazine's Reader's Choice Award for printer satisfaction, placing in the top 5.

HP has received PC Magazine's Readers’ Choice Award for printer satisfaction for the 15th consecutive year; one of the top two this year.

Fifteen industry awards were recently given to HP’s imaging and printing business products and services -- including the first Technological Innovation Award (https://www.betterbuys.com/ec/default.asp) presented by Industry Analysts, Inc. as well as Buyer’s Lab’s ‘Outstanding Achievement of the User Interface Design’ for HP’s multifunction devices.

Industry Analysts, Inc. selected The HP Universal Print Driver for Windows® for its first Technological Innovation Award and also recognized HP Web Jetadmin as the Best Print Management Solution.

Seven HP printers received the Editors Choice distinction from Better Buys for Business based on their high performance and overall great value to the customer. See article for details.

In the SmallBusinessComputing.com awards, HP captured honors in the program’s three printing categories – Color (HP LaserJet 2605dn), Black & White (HP LaserJet 2500) and Multifunction (HP Officejet 4315 All-in-One).

The editors of The Best PC Magazine included the HP Color LaserJet 4730 MFP in their ‘Top 25 Products of 2006’.

Buyers Lab selected HP Multifunction printers to receive the Outstanding Achievement Award for User Interface Design. In addition, HP was awarded the Outstanding Small Workgroup Monochrome Multifunctional Printer award with the HP LaserJet M3035xs.

In addition, these products reinforce HP’s industry leadership and helped HP rank sixth on CIO Insights ‘Top 40 Vendors’ list, surpassing all other competitors in the printer services and solutions market.

A 9 out of 10 Star Rating was awarded to HP Pavilion Media Center TV m7360n Desktop PC by Wired magazine. In addition to the standard features found on media centers, this one has a dizzying array of extras. The front panel has not only video inputs, but also firewire ports for hooking up a camcorder, memory card readers for most any format, and a dock for an optional HP disk drive.

The HP Pavilion a1350n received a perfect 5 out of 5-star rating from About.com. Acknowledging the need for ample storage space to compile digital videos, photographs and audio, the a1350n's very large 250GB hard drive was impressive. With a full gigabyte of RAM, dual-core processor, and attractive price point, the a1350n is called one of the best overall values when it comes to a mainstream desktop PC computer system.

HP Pavilion Media Center TV m7470n Desktop PC was awarded a 4.5 out of a possible 5 star rating by TopTechNews in its May 22 issue. With a fast processor, loads of memory, huge storage capacity and TV and radio capabilities, this is computer well suited to most multimedia tasks. But for game-playing, be sure to upgrade to a dedicated video card.

The HP Pavilion Media Center TV m7360n Desktop PC received a 4.5 out of 5 star rating from BusinessWeek's Online. Called a cut well above the rest, the m7360n is a perfect solution for data-storage capacity problems, with an impressive hard-drive, LightScribe technology and overall great performance.

PC World has awarded its Best Buy Award in the 'All Purpose Laptops' category to the HP dv5000z. This well priced and very portable Media Center notebook benefits from thoughtful design plus very good performance.

HP Pavilion dv8000z has won PC Magazine's Best Buy Award, taking first place in the Power Laptop category. The sleek dv8000z offers strong battery life, a built-in TV tuner, and solid performance in everything but gaming.

In PCWorld's most recent roundup of dual-core value desktops, HP's Pavilion Media Center m7590n has won a Best Buy Award because of its affordable $1300 price, scads of features, and strong performance on WorldBench. Read the review that earned this PC a place in the top 10.

On the cover of PC World’s August issue, the HP Pavilion Media Center TV m7490n Desktop PC was showcased as the 'Best Buy' winner for Powerful PCs. Touted as a terrific system for multimedia, the m7490n contains just about everything you could want in a multimedia machine.

The Compaq Presario SR1820NX Desktop PC received an 8.5 of 10 star rating from Computer Shopper -- sharing first place honors in Computer Shopper’s roundup of 'Sub $500 Desktops' --touting the machine’s double-layer DVD burner with Lightscribe and 160GB hard drive.

In features and performance, the HP Pavilion Elite m9040n is worthy of its ‘Elite’ moniker, yet it's much more populist in price. Given a 4.5 out of 5 rating, the Elite wins the Editors Choice Award. With media drive bays, quad-core performance and a nice price the Elite is a top pick.

PC World has named TouchSmart IQ770 one of ‘Today’s Most Innovative Products’. The IQ770 is the first all-in-one PC on the market to boast a touch-screen display.

With an 8.6 out of possible 10 rating, HP Pavilion Elite m9200t Desktop has won Computer Shopper’s Editors’ Choice Award. The PC Advisor (UK) has rated the HP w2408h 5 of 5 stars, and given it the Editor’s Best Buy award. The HP W2408H is user-friendly and intuitive to operate. It turns in an impressively rich and sharp display – movies look terrific – and provides beautiful pictures and future-proof features.

In the March issue of Laptop Magazine, the HP Pavilion dv1000 has won the Editor's Choice award for 'Best Bang for the Buck.' Stating that the dv1000 is an amazing departure from the laptops you're used to, in both looks and features. It even comes preloaded with iTunes.

CNET has named the Compaq Presario V5000Z the most affordable laptop on its top 100 tech products list. With a starting price of just $549, the Compaq Presario V5000Z is one of the least expensive base models on the market. A solid all-around notebook for a student or a home user who needs good performance and a fairly complete set of basic features, including a LightScribe double-layer optical drive and a multiformat media-card reader.

CNET has awarded 5 HP Pavilion models high marks in their categories for their Editor’s top laptop choices: Desktop Replacements - Pavilion dv8000, Gaming Laptops - Pavilion zd8000, Midsize Laptops - HP Pavilion dv4000, Thin and Light - HP Pavilion dv5000z and HP Pavilion dv1000t.

Laptop Magazine says with the updating of the sleek thin-and-light notebooks the dv1000t has gone to huge desktop replacement and a multitasking machine for everyone. So for entertaining at a moment’s notice and multitasking like the fastest desktops, the dv1000t wins 4 stars out of 5.

The HP Compaq Presario V5000Z has made CNET’s Top 100 Products in the ‘Most Affordable Laptop’ category. The Presario V5000Z is a solid all-around notebook for students or home users needing good performance and a fairly complete set of basic features. Best of all, at a starting price of $549, the V5000Z is one of the least expensive base models on the market.

Computer Shopper (online) has chosen the HP Pavilion dv6000z Entertainment Notebook PC as one of the top ‘Four Laptops for Less Than $1,000’ that will run Vista. In their March 19 publication, they state that with both performance and looks the dv6000z delivers the complete package.

Computer Shopper (online) gave the HP Pavilion Slimline s3330f Desktop an 8.5 out of 10 rating, earning it an Editors’ Choice Award. Loaded with fun features, the Slimline s3330f is hard to beat if you're in the market for a compact desktop system with top-shelf desktop entertainment components.

PC Magazine posted a glowing report of the Artist Edition dv2800t notebook, awarding it an Editors’ Choice Award and a rating of 4.5 out of 5. Calling it a work of art, they stated that the dv2800t is a head-turner, and an inexpensive one at that.

With 4 out of a possible 5 star rating, Pavilion dv5t has earned Laptop’s Editors’ Choice Award. Available in the July/August timeframe, according to the published report, the dv5t backs up its aesthetics with serious horsepower.

InfoWorld has compared the single-core implementation of the ProLiant DL585 and the Sun Fire V20z, the 1U dual-processor sibling of the Sun Fire V40z. The DL585 had the edge in manageability and high-availability features, concluding that the ProLiant DL585 is a better server.

DM Review has announced that HP has won its 2005 Readership Award in the Server category. Each year, readers are polled to determine the top companies serving the technology needs of the business intelligence community in specific market segments.

The results of the third Annual ServerWatch Product Excellence Awards are in and HP fared better than any of its competitors – finishing first in two categories, and runner-up in another.

The HP Integrity Superdome won in the High-end Server or Mainframe category and in the Blade System category, the HP BladeSystem c3000 did it again. HP’s Integrity rx7640 took runner-up in the Midrange Server category. Details provided in attached link.

Congratulations to the HP ProLiant 580 G5, for having been selected as SQL Server Magazine EDITOR’S BEST 2008 GOLD WINNER in the Hardware category. The magazine calls the ProLiant 580 G5 an evolutionary step forward, with particular enticements for SQL Server admins.

HP ProLiant DL585 has been selected as the Bronze winner for Windows IT Pro Magazine Editor’s Best 2008 in the Hardware category. Windows IT Pro calls the ProLiant DL585 a rackmounted enterprise-class server with amazing performance.

Storage Magazine/Search Storage.com recently named their '2005 Products of the Year' and a Bronze Award in the Networking Category was given to HP StorageWorks MSA 1000 Small Business SAN kit because it's easy to buy, install, manage and upgrade.

PC Magazine has awarded the HP StorageWorks AiO400t its Editor’s Choice ranking. Deep backup and data protection features, along with a dedicated Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 operating system, deliver as much storage flexibility as any small or midsize business will need. PC Magazine says the AiO400t is an entirely business-oriented NAS platform — and an impressive one at that.

The HP BladeSystem c-Class update has won the full six stars and been given the IT Pro Editor's Choice award. IT Pro says that HP's BladeSystem c-Class continues to set the bar. HP offers an extensive range of server and switch blades with some interesting storage options and excellent build quality. Management and monitoring facilities are far superior to the competition and the latest power control and metering tools could prove invaluable to data centres.

HP StorageWorks D2D Backup System has been selected as a Windows IT Pro Magazine Community Choice 2008 Gold Winner in the Backup & Recovery Products category. Windows IT Pro magazine calls Storageworks D2D a product that makes automated backup and recovery easy and affordable and works with your existing tape-backup process.

On May 2, HP announced that its HP Business Process Testing software earned a 2007 Codie Award in the ‘Best Business Software Solution’ category from the Software & Information Industry Association.

The only peer-recognition awards program of its kind in the industry, Codie awards provide a unique opportunity for companies to earn the praise of their competitors. Codie Awards judges identify the best of the best, with winners determined by a combination of first round judges’ rankings and Software & Information Industry Association member votes – and these awards are now in their 20th year,

HP Business Process Testing software enables collaboration between quality assurance teams and business analysts. The software is part of HP Quality Center, an integrated set of software, services and best practices for automating key application quality activities, including requirements management, test management, defect management, functional testing and business process testing. HP announced that it has been named to SD Times Magazine’s annual SD Times 100, a listing of industry leaders in software development. HP testing and quality management software solutions were named a leader in the ‘Test and Quality Assurance’ category. SD Times notes in its 2007 rankings that the test tools HP acquired through Mercury in November 2006 have been the industry standard for more than a decade. Leading analyst firm IDC recently declared HP the uncontested revenue leader in the overall distributed automated software quality (DASQ) market.

HP's Insight Power Manager (IPM) has placed third in SearchDataCenter.com’s Products of the Year awards in the Capacity and Power Management Tools category.

Focusing solely on the power side of the equation, IPM allows users to measure power consumption and air temperature for servers, as well as setting power caps for servers that don't need the maximum consumption listed on the nameplates. For more details check the URL attached.

Recognized by the Association of Support Professionals (ASP) and Local Industry Standards Association (LISA), the ten best companies who provide excellent web site support internationally were the first annual LISA Awards winners. In this challenging category HP's Customer Care and IT Resource Center sites have won by providing exceptional online support to global customers.

For the second consecutive year, HP has placed #2 in the Fintech 100 top 25 Enterprise companies in Financial Services. American Banker and global independent advisory firm Financial Insights, an IDC Company, released the second annual FinTech ranking of the Top 25 Enterprise Companies in the financial services industry worldwide. This listing honors technology companies such as HP that sell applications, services or infrastructure software/hardware to multiple industries and are established leaders with a strong focus on the financial services industry with a significant percentage of revenues attributed to financial services.

The Association of Support Professionals (ASP) recently recognized HP's consumer support website as one the ten best web support sites in its ninth annual competition. Three enhancements were recognized - the Automatic Product Detection Tool; the HP Technology Center; the HP Printer Check - as making finding online help easier and faster.

For a prestigious third year in a row, American Banker and the research firm Financial Insights have named HP as #2 in the FinTech Top 25 Technology Enterprise Companies, an international annual listing of the top financial services industry technology vendors providing solutions for the industry.

HP has placed second in the 2007 FinTech top 25 enterprise companies ranking, an international annual listing of the leading technology vendors providing solutions to the financial services industry. The ranking is produced by American Banker and Financial Insights, an IDC company, and recognizes enterprise technology companies that have demonstrated a strong solution focus, established leadership and earned a significant percentage of revenues from the financial services industry.

HP will receive its FinTech 2007 Award and will be recognized for its achievement at an awards ceremony on November 14, 2007 at the BAI Retail Delivery Show in Las Vegas.

HP OpenView was awarded NetworkWorld’s Clear Choice Award for excellent network discovery, root-cause problem analysis, task automation, responsive and intuitive user interface, and scalability. NetworkWorld tested HP's OpenView Network Node Manager 7.5, OpenView Operations 7.5 and OpenView Internet Services 6.0.

In a recent Network World magazine comparative review of monitoring and management products for midrange networks, OpenView Network Node Manager scored Clear Choice honors. The review notes, “Network Node Manager has a distributed architecture that scales well to handle larger and more complex network environments. Each year, Network World Magazine names 10-12 products as its ‘Best of the Tests’ designees. From the previous 12 months of testing the highest scoring products win an award in the specific product category in which it fits. The HP BladeSystem c3000 Enclosure product received the nod in the category of Network Infrastructure. The BladeSystem c3000 is now available in tower or rack model configurations, and offers a number of other optional features and interconnect modules.

Windows IT Pro Magazine's Fourth Annual Readers' Choice Awards competition has just announced its winners and HP has won the top spot in the following five areas:

* Document Management/Imaging Software, Hewlett-Packard, HP Output Server

HP and its ProCurve Networking by HP division came away the big winners, nabbing victories across nine product categories -- sweeping five categories, including Notebooks and Mobile Computers, SMB Networking Hardware, SMB Volume Servers, Storage Management Software and Network Management Software. The company also won for Program and Support in the Enterprise Wireless LAN category; Technical, Program and Support and the Overall winner for External Data Back-Up; Technical, Program and Support and Overall winner in Network Storage; and the Technical award for Workgroup Color Printers.

HP recently announced that its entire personal workstation line has become the first in the category to achieve a “Gold” listing in the Electronic Products Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT™) – giving HP the largest number of EPEAT Gold registered products in the industry.

The EPEAT registry helps businesses evaluate, compare and select desktop computers, notebooks and monitors based on the products’ environmental attributes and evaluates electronic products in Bronze, Silver and Gold tiers. The program is sponsored by the Green Electronics Council, and its environmental criteria are defined by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

HP’s current line of HP Workstations include the HP xw4550 Workstation, the HP xw4600 Workstation, the HP xw6600 Workstation, the HP xw8600 Workstation, and the HP xw9400 Workstation. Winners of the eWeek Channel Insider ‘2008 Channel Product of the Year Award’ have been announced and HP TSG products did very well in the Networking & Storage category – earning two firsts and one second place finish.
